DIPA Aged on Spanish Cedar wood spirals - This is a concept that we visited way back in 2019. Spanish Cedar (best known as a material for cigar humidors) really amplifies the grapefruit notes of the hops, along with adding spicy sandalwood flavors that linger long into the finish. It’s a fun and unique balance of beer and wood that is especially food friendly thanks to the spice and citrus notes!

16 ounce can poured into a Willi Becher.

L: Hazy pale-gold, opaque, 2 finger white head, sudsy foam is persistent and leaves some sticky lace.
S: Bright and zingy citrus hops early on, mango becoming more prevalent later in the glass.
T: Low sweetness, medium bitterness, opens with citrus and small stone fruit hop flavors, a little bit of bread flour malt, a little peppery, peel bitterness towards the finish, a woody tang in the middle stands out more in the aftertaste, mango flavors picks up later in the glass.
F: Medium-weight body, lightly crisp over soft feel, slight tongue prickle at the finish, more creamy and full later in the glass.
O: Really nice combination of fruity mango and woody tanginess as this one develops into something larger as you drink.
