Copenhagen 16/6 2024. 47,3 cl can from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard. Kbh.V. What looks like a forest clearing partially obscured by white snow flakes.
Pours opaque dark brown with big light beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet and bit sugary odor mingling with a bit of sweet spice. Brown sugar and toffee. Lactose.Cinnamon and vanilla.
Strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively, fizzy and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a bitter undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Pretty hard carbonated Oatmeal Stout.

16 ounce can poured into a nonic pint glass.
Canned 7/18/23
Pouring dark brown and clear with a 2 inch medium brown and fizzy cola-like head. Strong nose of roasted malt, coffee grounds, cocoa and hints of vanilla for an overall sweet dessert-like impression. Roasted malt flavor balanced by oats and sweeter cocoa and vanilla flavors. Vanilla is subtle. High-ish sweetness with only mild bitterness. The full creamy body is silky smooth with crisp edges from the high carbonation before it dissipates. Nothing fancy, but very drinkable. A straight forward, but sweet, fantastic Oatmeal Stout.
