Pale Ale with Lemon Verbena, Grapefruit, and Hibiscus – We infused this pale ale with extra brightness in the form of homegrown lemon verbena and fresh grapefruit zest. The pink color comes from hibiscus flowers. The result is a hoppy beer where the stone fruit and pineapple hop notes play a supporting role to the lemon drop candy, grapefruit soda, and cranberry aromatics of the other herbs!

Draft pour into a stemless wine glass at the brewery.
L: Cloudy washed out red, thin white head that recedes quickly to a ring.
S: Subtle nose, sweet berry wine aroma.
T: Grapefruit, red fruit, lightly sweet, mild bitterness, slightly floral.
F: Light, crisp and clean.
O: OK. IMHO, a Fruit and Field Beer that the brewer has listed as a Pale Ale, which definitely shows through as the base beer.
