Started as a “Snip Snap” session, then added flaked raw coconut and vanilla beans. Coconut adds rich-creaminess to the vanilla beans’ marshmallow-clouds all layered on citrusy and tropical hop aromatics.

16 ounce can poured into a Willi Becher.
CANNED ON 3/21/24

L: Hazy, pale yellow, 2” white head, rocky meringue-like foam has good retention and leaves rings of sticky lace.
S: Big hop forward nose, grapefruit and orange, stone coming as it warms.
T: Juciy hop profile, sweet tropical start, citrus pith and peel moderately bitter finish, some vanilla stands out late in the glass, hints of pale malt flavor under the juice.
F: Medium-full body, soft and creamy, medium-high carbonation builds to a crisp bite at the finish, a bit of prickle in the finish.
O: Good flavor and feel, but fairly heavy and filling.

Luxurious beautiful creamy pale ale with nice notes of citra and galaxy. Full dense creamy white head with excellent lacing and really residual covering and halo. Beautiful soft yellow haze. Nose is a bit restrained and actually shows off the hops mostly. Flavor very good with really nicely rounded merging of the coconut and vanilla with bright spots of the tropical/citrusy hops. Body is like having a great smooth hand pulled cask ale. Creamy smooth but not heavy and still some bright carbonation.
Overall a very good APA perhaps “milkshake” APA with real excellence in the body and presentation of the brew. Loved it.
