Imperial Stout with Toasted Hazelnuts, Cacao Nibs, Vanilla Beans, and Coffee
We brewed this extra-sticky Imperial Stout with three beans (coffee, vanilla, and cacao)... and it's liquid, so technically it's a three bean soup! The base is more caramel than roasty thanks to three extra-long boils (~60 hours in total). The result is as thick as pea soup, but with the flavors of a mocha hazelnut latte!

I haven’t really had a good pastry stout in a while but this one really knocked my socks off. A great balance between the sweetness of the chocolate, hazelnut and vanilla with the bitter roast of the coffee to balance it at just the right levels for my tastes. Very well done.

Can pour; thicc with a tall dark brown head that slowly dissipates. Color is a murky brown. Nose is coffee and cream. Flavor is sweet coffee and chocolate. Can't say I'm getting a ton of hazelnut.
