Featuring the new fruit-forward Anchovy hop variety in a new “Chill Haze” IPA…a Hazy IPA fermented cold with lager yeast. Paired with HBC 586. Watermelon and Pine meets tropical and stone fruits. Finish is well rounded yet crisp.

16 ounce can poured into a Spiegelau wheat beer glass.
CANNED ON 3/9/24

L: Light yellow and hazy, one inch of dense white foam
S: Light nose, stone fruit, hoppy sharpness with a zesty freshness,
T: Hoppy and bright, fruity with hints of sweeter piney hops, not juicy or overly fruity (probably tailed off after 74 days), or maybe the lager yeast has something to do with that.
F: Highly carbonated and very crisp with an underlying soft medium body.
O: Good, and drinkable IPA though it has some kick.

Amazing build where so many unique non- typical ingredients and brewing style really work. Poured glass is a gorgeous light hazy yellow with touches of orange. Full plumy head that drops to massive lacing and a full cover and halo in surface. Nose is fruity if not as explosive as its taste. Taste is as advertised…a wonderful melange of tropical and stone fruit forward so well enhanced with watermelon and notes of dank in the background/ mid tongue. Body may be the smoothest non- oat/non-lactose IPA I’ve had yet. Wonderfully creamy smooth… yet still light, refreshing and clean.
Fantastic creative build. Another reason I think Mike and Scott and team are increasingly evidencing craftwork that should be recognized nationally.
