Draft pour into a teku at the brewery.
L: Dark red hued brown, like lite syrup on the sides of the glass, a conservative pour yielded a thin bit everlasting beige micro ring.
S: Robust sweet indicating nose, caramel malt, graham cracker malt with bourbon barrel undertones.
T: Sweet with rich full malt character, caramel and light roasted malt, graham cracker comes through as well sweetness cancels any roasty/acrid bitterness, barrel flavor is subtle but part of the equation, bittering hops are perceptible in the back.
F: Full bodied and smooth overall, quilted feel with moderate carbonation and alcohol giving it some edge.
O: Excellent but on the sweet side.
