L: Dark brown with tawny highlights, short lived ruddy-brown head fades to a ring in 30 seconds.
S: A quick vinous note then bourbon barrel with sweet indicating vanilla and caramel aromas, pleasant alcohol.
T: Big caramel and graham cracker malt, bourbon barrel, dark dried fruit and leaf tobacco, fleeting hints of a brighter red berry flavor.
F: Full bodied, mild carbonation, creamy and viscous feel, very smooth except for a small alcohol bite on the back, warming but less than expected.
O: Easy sipper with tame alcohol character, flavorful, interesting and very enjoyable.
