Brewing vegan beer honestly doesn’t change too much of what we do. The main ingredient off limits to us is Lactose. After you all voted Orange Juicius Max as the best Milkshake IPA in the country on Untappd in 2023 (without any lactose!) we wanted to tackle the ultimate brewing challenge - the Milkless Milk Stout! We took an already extra oaty stout and loaded it up with 30 gallons of Oat Milk in the whirlpool. The result is cream-alternative milk-style deliciously crafted to provide a vegan alternative without sacrificing the mouthfeel that makes the style great!

16 ounce can poured into a tumbler pint glass.
CANNED ON 10/01/24
L: Dark brown, one inch ruddy light brown head, foam recedes to a foam collar and a wispy cap in a minute or so.
S: Caramel, chocolate, light roast
T: Opens with roasted malt and a little bitter char, oats, sweeter chocolate and caramel flavor on the back, finishing coffee and cream-like,
F: Medium-full body, high-ish carbonation gives it a small crisp bite early in the glass, more creamy and a little viscous as it warms.
O: Good sweet stout, plenty of flavor, no lactose but it does have a bit of milk character.

A fantastic stout. Almost black in color. Minimal carbonation. Sweet but not overwhelmingly sweet. Notes of S’more, chocolate, and actually some milk notes. There is a slight coffee note to it which I normally hate but this is a very solid beer. I appreciate the low alcohol in a stout.
