IPA with Nelson Sauvin
We collabed with a Japanese hop scientist (Kiyoshi Takoi) and the team at Great Dane Brewing to pull every "science" lever we could for the most juicy, fruity, tropical, intense hop expression we could manage! We selected whirlpool hops high in the ester 2-MIB to synergize with the 3S4MP in Nelson Sauvin, along with a unique strain which accentuates tropical aromatics, plus a special "secret sauce" ingredient to push things even further!

From a pint can purchased at the brewery, poured into a heavy pint goblet very hazy, fruit juice like pour. The thin head degrades into a ring of foam, some slippery/temporary lacing between sips.
Dank, grapefruit flavor is dominant, some slightly sour orange, pine resin flavors, faint hints of not yet ripe pineapple.
Semi-dry, slightly tangy on the finish with a grapefruit aftertaste.

Standard haze, very pale hue. Nice fresh, juicy aroma. Mostly tropical flavor with white wine contributions from the Nelson. Definitely has an amped up fruitiness that I wouldn't expect from a 7-percenter. Some grassy notes at the end. Soft body helps amplify the flavor. Top tier IPA.

T: Grapefruit pith and pulp, just a bit juicy, pale malt bread flour flavor, sweetness balancing the moderate bitterness, fairly dry on the back.
F: Soft medium weight-body, minor bite on the back.
O: Good hazy IPA, good hop flavor.
