This specialty keg is a blend of beers aged here at Sapwood Cellars, Union and Jailbreak. Each brewery contributed 1 barrel of B.A. Stout or Barleywine for this Collab! We had a Stout aged In a Sherry barrel, a Barleywine aged in a rye whiskey barrel and another Stout that came out of a bourbon barrel! Tons of great barrel flavors on this decadent Roastwine!

On draught at Sapwood Cellars.
Roasted caramelized malt, Raisin, and Molasses of the two Stouts dominate the flavor.
The 11.8% booziness likely contributed mostly from the Barleywine is somewhat masked by the complexity of blended barrel aged brews. The Bourbon, Rye and Sherry barrel aging flavors are commingled but distinguishable. The hops bitterness is adrift in a sea of flavors.
An interesting and great three way collaboration. A rare treat.
