New Zealand Pilsner with Motueka, Nelson Sauvin™ and Lórien™
We teamed up with our new friends at Altitude Brewing to brew an authentic New Zealand Pilsner! We blended our Pilsner recipes and took their advice for the hopping, including Motueka from Garston Hops they they selected for us! While Lórien is from the US, it brings reinforcing lime-zest aroma along with floral notes to compliment the white wine of the Nelson Sauvin!

On draught at the brewery.
Pours a hazy yellow/orange color. Beautiful head and lacing, all the way to the bottom.
The malt flavor is permeated by grapefruit, IPA like flavor. Nice hops bitterness.
An interesting beer, it doesn’t fit well in the Pilsner style IMO, nor the Bitters category.
Perhaps an IPL would better suit it.
