Pours an amber/brown color. 1 finger off white head. The head retention is ok. No lacing on the glass.
The nose is malty sweet. There's other parts to it, but I just can't describe it. It is a pleasing aroma.
Taste - There's a bit of caramel. A slight sweet part. It then turns into something, like the aroma, that I just can't put into words (I'm sure others here could describe it better). I can say it's a pleasing taste.
A bit of a pop feel from the carbonation. There's a bit of stickiness that lingers in my throat, but it's not hops. Again, others here might be able to describe it better.
I am pleased that I got this beer, and, even though I can't put into words well what I'm tasting here, I do like it.
