L: Poured from a bottle to a snifter glass. Had an orange-ish color and a mostly hazy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy / fizzy head that quickly dissipated. Pretty good lacing.
S: A solid aroma of funky yeast, a vinous quality, citrus fruit, and tropical fruit.
T: Tasted of a bit of the citrus fruit (orange, in particular), an earthy quality (mostly in the finish), a good shot of funky, Belgian-style yeast (a major component, but not obnoxiously so), some tropical fruit (papaya, perhaps?), and a surprising amount of red wine (and its barrels). An interesting and well-balanced flavor. Pretty tasty.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a somewhat dry finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A solidly made, interesting beer. Worth a try.
