Böckchen, loosely translated Baby Goat, pours with a lively action that promotes a three finger thick head, which dissipates quickly. The body is dark ruby red in color, and is mildly murky.
Smell is of toffee, cola, and has an herb and metallic finish.
The taste is of toffee, nutty, and maybe a hint of maple.
The feel is smooth, a little slick and oily, and has a warm alcohol finish.
Overall a good strong bock, and maybe leans a little towards being a doppelbock.
