From the bottom of the can: "PKG 06/08/20 14:59"
Appearance: The body of the beer is a milky yellow color with a fuzzy haze. It has a large, white, fluffy head when poured. The head recedes down to a medium-sized cap with a rippled surface. Very little lacing.
Aroma: Coriander and orange peel come through very clearly. There is a light floral aroma to the beer.
Taste: Up front there is this slightly tangy flavor which has a mix of wheat and orange flavor. In the middle a light wheat grain flavor comes through nicely, mixed with a touch of citrus. It finishes with a light floral note. It's very enjoyable to drink.
Mouthfeel: Quite simply, the mouthfeel for this beer is perfect. It is thick and it fills the palate at every corner, but it feels medium-light in texture. It is very enjoyable to drink. Carbonation in the beer is perfect.
Overall: The base style, as indicated by the can, is "Witbier" and it self-labels as a "PASSION FRUIT TANGERINE WIT." It's a very enjoyable beer that is both full of flavor and aroma. The can states that this is made with "Passion fruit, tangerine, coriander, orange peel and chamomile." All of these seem to make an appearance with the exception of the namesake ingredient, the passion fruit. Even though the passion fruit seems to be missing, the balance of flavors in the beer is lovely. The coriander and orange peel are definitely there, and there is a possibility that the floral characters could be from the chamomile. The tangerine could also be mixing with the orange peel a bit. In the end it is a highly enjoyable beer and I would buy a six-pack of this alone. I would definitely drink it again and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a quality made, citrus infused Witbier.
