Driven by the love for the beach, surf, and of course, fruity and hoppy tropical IPAs, the Carolina Tropical IPA was born from a collaboration between our owner and brewer. This IPA brings the flavors and aromas of the island life to our roots on the Carolina coast. The fresh pineapple and mango, in combination with the New Zealand Motueka hops, gives this beer a juicy tropical kick. Take a sniff and a sip then close your eyes. When you open them, you may be on a remote island in the Pacific. Or you might be in our tap room.

32oz crowler poured into a tulip
A- pours a clear golden color with a one-finger foamy white head that has short retention and leaves a ring around the edge
S- tropical hops on the nose with notes of mango, guava & citrus. Bready malt undertones as well as some grassy notes
T- tropical notes follow the nose with notes of mango, passionfruit & pineapple. Mid-palate is slightly malty, giving some bready notes. The finish gives a bit of citrus and grass and lingers of more tropical hops
M- medium body with low carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel and a crisp semi-dry finish
O- easy drinking IPA with good drinkability
