The Air is Salty is our interpretation of the much beloved, unfiltered German sour wheat beer, Gose (GO-suh.) Our version is soured with a special probiotic blend and then brewed with coriander and locally produced salt from Bulls Bay Saltworks. This twangy and refreshing beer will not leave you feeling salty.
Flavors: tangy lemonade, bright tartness, salinity

A: Pours a clear slightly darker than medium golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate bright yellow + brassy colored highlights. The beer has a three finger fizzy sudsy foamy bright white head that quickly reduces to a medium to large sized patch of thin film covering approximately 30% of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Minimal amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of slightly sour wheat malts with minimal amounts of grainy sweetness and moderate amounts of tart lacto lemon citrus. Light aromas of salinity and coriander.
T: Upfront there are slightly stronger than moderate flavors of slightly sour wheat malts with minimal amounts of grainy sweetness and moderate amounts of tart lacto lemon citrus. That is followed by light flavors of salinity/brininess and coriander. Moderate amounts of lingering tartness.
M: Light bodied with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp with slightly stronger than moderate amounts of acidic prickliness.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a very refreshing tart crisp + prickly mouthfeel. Very enjoyable and perfect after some hard miles in the 90+ heat on the bike. Nice light saltiness.
