Shiny black with burnt red edges and a thin tan ring, this has a very impressive amount of of barrel character to it.
Sticky bourbon syrup, dark fruits like fig and raisin, and dark molasses-laden oak via a lightly crackly carbonation that finishes semi-dry with a little heat. Underneath the barrel are notes of cocoa and chocolate.
Auroch has a thin skeleton, but that actually helps to make what might seem like a heavy beer much more drinkable.
