Foggy muddled goldish-tan with a persistent white blanket leaving wavy lace.
This version of their Raw Ale is grassy of barnyard funk even verging into cow patties before notes of raw wheat and spring water are accented by a hint of anise.
The medium-light body has a big filling froth and finishes tingly.
The funk is strong here, amped up by the Alfalfa, and likely a little too much so for most. Yet at the same time, I can't help but commend an Ohio brewery for dipping their toes into something like this. Wow. I wish them all the luck in continuing on this journey of funky wonder.
