Burnt chestnut brown with a fuzzy tan head quickly dying to a thin chain.
Taste is crabapple, cranberry, blackberry and a hint of lime. Cherry-esque Flanders elements are also present, but with a very mild tartness and not nearly as sour. There are nice touches of charred oak and a hint of salted caramel, as well as a little herbality and vinousness. A touch of peppery bourbon actually seems to emerge as it warms.
The crisp, light to moderate body finishes cleanly semi-dry.
