Dull black with a firmly dense tan head settling to a persistent blanket.
A solid punch of semi-bitter cacao and an almost dusty coffee-like roast pairs with a touch of tobacco. The pumpkin is very faint, and seems to come with a mild hint of mint(?)
Architeuthis is more like a classic porter than an outright pumpkin beer, but for a little spicy pungency, which I'm not sure about, but it's almost milky. I guess that makes sense.
This has a soft froth but a medium body, coming to a powder dry finish.
