A big, tart apricot punch at the start shocks my senses, as I really didn't realize it was featuring this fruit--I must have been more focused on the herb addition.

Quite tart, but smooth, the prickly body features herbal qualities that are persistently present throughout the apricot. The lavender is mild--not at all soapy--providing a pleasant attribute that often seems more akin to honeysuckle. It's also a little spicy, and swallows quite dry. Smell adds a bit of cracker and a little wildly pungent stonefruit funk, while in flavor the oak has a brighter, whiter florality.
