Foggier amber-orange than the DVD version, hazy even, with a thicker, bright white meringue foam head settling slowly, retaining well.

This brett-ified barleywine is lightly tart with a spicy funk. The yeast does indeed impart a pineapple character, but to my palate that actually turns more into a pungent peach note in short order, overall forcing an otherwise formidable beer to stray entirely from its barleywine base.

While it's a tasty brew, it's really hard to describe, but definitely don't come in to this thinking #life
