Chill hazed amber-bronze with a short khaki head.
This very fall-like concoction isn't bad, but also doesn't work so well for me in this sunny summer heat. While exuding autumnal characteristics, it's also kind of like an American barleywine, complete with a resinous potency and those hints of orange peel. Along with the tartness and its funky brett--where the tartness itself is like apple cider with a light squeeze of lemon--this all makes for one unusual beer.
The medium slick body has a soft carbonation and finishes semi-dry.
