Clear golden-amber with a short but densely creamy off-white head from the Lukr draft pull.
This most excellent festbier features lightly toasted malts and cereals accented by hints of Brazil nut and wheat. A very mild but complementing tang accompanies the frothy but firmly sustained body that is infinitely satisfying on the palate.
The feel and the cleanliness alone are supremely satisfying, but the clarity of expression is quite enjoyable as well.
---
In 2025, I feel like the tang has increased a bit, giving a bit of crabapple plum or even cherry, suggesting a bit more tartness, but surely not actually acidic, and also a bit of pitty bitterness. Though as such, it's less enjoyable than my original 4.63 this year.
