Dull matte black with a short but dense tan head.
The full, round body explodes with medium roast coffee that makes for an exceptional upper I should have probably avoided at the hour in which I imbibed this. The roast avoids char or overpowering bitterness, yet remains overall bitter, even exhibiting a hint of smoke before coming to a bit of a powdery finish. It comes to the line of excess and dances over it before jumping back over and over again, enjoyably so.
And damn that mouthfeel is so pleasant.
The escalation of coffee relative to the base is astronomical, like a totally different beer.
