Faintly hazy pale straw yellow with very minimal head dying to a mostly fluid surface.
Holy New Zealand white wine Batman, this is a trip. Botanical as all hell, passion fruit seeds, spruce tips and a bit of juniper meet a mildly funky base that's unusually soft and smooth, barely even tart, with hints of mint but then also NEIPA qualities. Wild!
Really uniquely bright, it's white grapey, funky, and farmhousey all in one without having any overpowering elements. As I continue on I experience lemon-orange sorbet with a bit of straw and maybe even wild herbs.
I wish I could take a few more swings at this, as it came across as odd at first, and kept slowly intriguing more and more on into deliciousness.
