Clear merlot red with a short but creamy tan head.
Spice is mild, mostly cinnamon forward, accented maybe by a touch of dried ginger or clove, otherwise bolstered by a nicely nutty red underneath, itself subtle and not too overpowering. A good balance.
The medium full, round body, has a pleasantly soft crispness, exhaling gingersnaps.
