Refreshing, but undistinguished.
This seems typical of what many gastropubs produce since they need to focus on their food, too. Eris' situation is further complicated by making their own cider first and seem, now, to be getting around to their beer. I'm not going to review Walking Phoenix as I drank it among at least a dozen other samples at the 7th Generation BrewFest in Oak Park.
But I did go on their website and am impressed by their humor and the dedication of three women getting together to do better what guys do. I hope the women succeed... and that I actually get to taste their pairing recommendations.
