I purchased a fairly fresh can (packaged 2 months ago) - carbonation is great - maybe slightly strong. I poured this 12oz can into an ordinary pint glass.
The color is pale straw - and a touch hazy (not as clear as expected) but not off-putting - it looks the part but I think it should be a touch clearer. The smell is almost all grain and grass - low hop aroma - but I expect that of this style. Taste wise the malt and yeast make a good pair - but this is where I feel like this is more like a classic German lager (helles) than a Mexican beer. That said... isn't that what most good Mexican lagers taste like? So I actually rate this pretty high taste wise - I really like the malt forward and slight bread-like warmth on the back end. The mouth feel is very nice! It has body - but it's not heavy - you could session this beer. There is no cloying sweetness - that's a plus in my book. This category is getting a lot of attention lately - and while this one is good - it's not exactly a standout (That may not be a bad thing) - but all in all - I like it. I will buy more.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
