Black as the oil pouring from the engines of the motorcycle wreckage at Ludlow Lagoon Motordrome in the late 1800's, but much better tasting and less flammable. A very smooth German style lager.

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This solid little brew pours a coal black with a
nice head of khaki foam that sizzles to a thin ring. Nose of dark chocolate, dark coffee,
faint char, and caramel malts. Flavors excel for the style with coffee, moderate bakers
chocolate, light char and roast with some light herbal hop notes on the back of the taste.
Medium mouth feel, medium body, smooth, light carbonation, and a rich roasted finish
Overall, a well done schwarz.
Cheers
