Had a taster at the brewery last night.
Very strong bourbon aroma and taste. Too much for me, it overpowered everything else.

From the 25.36 ml wax capped bottle in a snifter. This solid BBA scotch
ale pours a muddled red tinged murky brown with a nice creamy head
of khaki foam that settles to a thick ring and film with light lacing. Nose of
bourbon, brown sugars, oak, vanilla, and subtle floral notes akin to orange blossom.
Flavors hit the mark with mellow oak, bourbon, vanilla, brown sugar, toffee hints,
raisin, peach hints, and earthy malts. Nice mouth feel; medium body, light carbonation,
smooth, lightly warming, and finishing moderately dry.
Overall, a solid brew and a happy 5th anniversary as celebrated in this
2022 vintage.
Cheers
