750 ml wax capped bottle, 2022 vintage, thanks to Brutaltruth for this one! Served in a chalice, the beer pours a brownish/red color with not quite an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like dark fruit, vanilla, bourbon, brown sugar and a bit of clove. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some caramel, oak and licorice flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit coating and has a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall brew, certainly worth trying if you get the chance!

From the 375 ml bottle in a snifter. This beast pours a a hazy ruby tinged brown with a
very nice head of big bubbled kahki foam that settles to a thick ring, thin clumping layer,
and sports some nice light lacing. Nose of bourbon, oak, and vanilla hints with cherry
and booze dashed with brown sugar. Flavors surpass the nose with brown sugar, cherry,
oak, vanilla, and rich bourbon, brown sugars, light cherry, subtle date, and astringent
alcohol. Mouth feel is medium, faint carbonation, lightly abrasive booze, warming, and
finishing lightly dry and moderately sweet.
Overall, a nice little brew.
Cheers
