This was recommended by several people to try at a beer festival. It did not disappoint. Good color and crystal clear. Almost no head.
The smell is like blueberry jam, sweet and rich.
The taste is a nice contrast with the strong blueberry flavor coming across like fresh crushed blueberries, meaning there's sour, dryness to the taste. Complex and yet very drinkable.

•This isn’t listed as a sour, but I consider it a half-sour - it’s sour without the total pucker and distress of realizing you didn’t ask for a sour but that’s what you got.
•Blueberry beer without the off-putting soapy element I find in most blueberry beers.
•It IS sweet, for a beer, but not obnoxiously so (honey is in the name!) and it tastes like real honey sweetness and not manufactured.
• I didn’t expect it to pour a clear purple-red- I don’t know why, with blueberry in the name- but it did (it’s very pretty) and barely any head which quickly dissipates.
• Nice Bubbliness and effervescence!
•For me, this is not a four-pack buy but an appreciated single-can buy for when I’m in the mood!

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – the beer pours a vibrant purple color with a small head of pink foam. The head fades quite quickly leaving a touch of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is massive of a blueberry and honey smell mixed with notes of a bit of sour lemon and notes of grain. Along with these smells come a bit of a hay and grass.
Taste – The taste begins with a cracker malt base that has a ton of blueberry mixed within. The sweetness is light however, with the blueberry being on the more tart and slightly sour side. Along with the blueberry comes notes of honey and a bit of blackberry like flavors as well. There is a touch of herb and hay right from the start with the later flavor getting more intense as the taste advances. The sourness also gets a bit stronger as well, with more tart blueberry and some lemon coming on, leaving one with a nice crisp, moderately tart, and well-balanced blueberry/grain taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is light ad crisp with a moderate carbonation level.
Overall – A very nice blueberry honey ale with tons of flavor and a fantastic drinkability. A nice blend of sour, fruit, and grain.

Timberyard Brewing Co. "Blueberry Honey Ale"
16 fl. oz. can coded "24075" and sampled on 05/27/24
Notes via stream of consciousness: On a hot an humid day I can't imagine that anything could be more refreshing than a blueberry and honey ale. It's poured a hazy dark ruby body beneath a half an inch of pink foam. The blueberry comes out in the nose and suggests some tartness. Is it? Yeah, it's somewhat tart in the flavor. It's also sweetish, and you get the malt and honey as well. Whoah! I just noticed that it's 8% alcohol by volume; I'm going to have to slow down with this. It's nicely balanced and I think that perhaps the alcohol has a hand in that as it's not bitter yet it finishes mainly dry. The tartness of course helps as well. In the mouth it's medium bodied and gently crisp. I also notice that all of the ingredients are locally sourced, not just the blueberries and honey. Mmmm, it is a refreshing and tasty brew!
