Light gold, slightly hazy, with moderate white head.
Smell is bread, moist straw, and a slight fruity aroma. (pear+white grape juice)
Flavor is fresh-out-of-the-oven white bread, light bit of saltine cracker (minus the salt, of course) , a tiny bit of the fruitiness that is in the aroma, and finishes with some light bread crust, wet cardboard, and slight bitterness. Normally, I don't like the bread crust+wet cardboard element, but here, it isn't unpleasant. Because it's fresh? …. ???
Additional note : as it warmed, that wet cardboard flavor disappeared.
Feel is light, with moderate, very fine, soft carbonation . Not the "very clean and crisp, highly carbonated " (BA style description) beer that one ( & I) might expect. It is of the sort that is so "easy-drinking" that you don't notice it 'til it's gone. Whether that is a plus or minus probably will depend upon the mood of the moment.
The first impression is of a blonde/lager hybrid. That fades somewhat, and it leans away from "blonde" , as it warms. The aroma, taste, feel, and overall enjoyment improves as it warms. (Unlike it's mass-produced counterparts. ;) ) Overall, enjoyable, and good for the "I-just-want-a-beer" moments, but given their other offerings , not something I'd expect to seek out frequently.
