Had on tap. Crystal clear yellow body with a finger of white foam and sporadic lacing. Smells of pale malts, minor cereal grains, orange slice and a tick of thin yeast. Taste is much the same, I would say the pale malts and grains outsize the rest even more than the nose. Feel is crisp and thinner but never watery, pale bite on finish is modest but pleasant, higher carbonation

 

Pours a nearly clear golden straw color with a foamy white head that provides ample lacing. Beautiful lager. The nose is some grass and a nice grainy cereal malt flavor.

The taste mirrors the nose, with a little more grassy flavor and a nice cereal malt flavor, all of which is complemented by a very clean, crisp mouthfeel. A very nice crusher of an American Lager.

 

 

 

12oz can purchased from the fridge as a single for $1.99. Canned on 7/28/22, so this is almost 6 weeks old.

Look: Pours a golden yellow color with a moderate haziness. The head dissipated pretty quickly.

Smell: Nice malty, bready aroma. The finish is a bit musty and nutty. Interestingly enough, I get notes of roasted peanuts. It's interesting and different, and smells crisp and refreshing.

Taste: It's very crushable. There is a nice malty backbone with subtle citrus and peppery notes. A bit of lager funk, too. There is a subtle acidity on the palate that is also nice. The finish is crisp and refreshing, with mild bitterness.

Feel: It's light to medium bodied, with an appropriate level of carbonation.

Overall: This is a solid American Lager. I really look forward to trying Lime City Lager the next time that I see it on the shelf!

L---Clear light gold color. Medium head faded quickly and left a little bit of lacing.

S---Light aroma, slightly malty.

T---Some citrus (orange) and graininess.

F---Light bodied with ample carbonation.

O---Good for the beach or for pounding all day.

 

Clear golden in body with white bubbly. Aroma of honey grain, light pine and grass. Tastes of honey grain, light pine, grass, light citrus, light bitterness in the finish. Light bodied.

 

 

 

 

Very light colored Lager, minimal head, decent smell. Crisp good tasting brew. Very much a session brew. Would be great for social gatherings, throwing a football around or on the beach etc. Party pleasing brew that anyone would dig.
