Have you ever looked at plate of food or a beverage in a glass and just craved it? That's what this beer was made for, to be desired upon first sight. We used the 1-2 punch of Galaxy and Citra hops to take this beer into tropical heaven. Although 8.3% ABV, this beer is highly drinkable.

Type: 16-oz. can
Reviewed as: New England Double / Imperial IPA
Glass: Pure Project 14-oz. Teku glass
Price: $6.02
From: Bottlecraft Beer Shop in San Diego, Calif. (Liberty Station)
Purchased: Aug. 29, 2021
Consumed: Aug. 31, 2021
Misc.: Canned on July 14, 2021
Picked up four different beers from Bottlecraft while in Liberty Station. Thought I looked at the canned on dates but not sure I would usually pick up an IPA six weeks old if I saw it. Anyway, Untappd description was “Have you ever looked at plate of food or a beverage in a glass and just craved it? That's what this beer was made for, to be desired upon first sight. Poured a medium golden hazy color with three fingers of rocky-to-frothy white head. Lost of fast-moving bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. Perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled Galaxy, peach, apricot, passion fruit, grapefruit, Citra, lemon, citrus zest and hints of orange citrus. So much better out of the can with Citra coming in strong. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted about as good as the nose. In order got Galaxy, peach skin, apricot, passion fruit, grapefruit, Citra, lemon, melon, citrus zest, orange citrus and hints of pineapple. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Juicy finish. (Feel - 4.25)
This was outstanding overall but I think would be even better if I had this two or three weeks ago. (Overall - 4.00)
