Glass: Pure Project 16-oz. snifter glass
Price: $6.29 (w/ 10 pct. off because of a mixed 6-pack) (regular $6.99)
From: Bine & Vine Bottle Shop in Normal Heights (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: Dec. 31, 2020
Consumed: Jan. 22, 2021
Misc.: Canned on Dec. 22, 2020
Bought this and a bunch of other stuff on New Year’s Eve. Online description of it was “Hazy IPA brewed with 5.5 lbs/bbl of hand-selected Strata and Citra. This pillowy beer has notes of yellow peaches, satsuma tangerines, and sweet pineapples.”
Poured a hazy light golden color with three fingers of frothy-to-rocky white head. Plenty of bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. Perfect spotty-to-spiderweb foamy lacing. Perfect foamy retention. Such a good-looking beer. (Sight - 5.00)
Smelled dank Strata and Citra right away. Also peach, grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine, mandarin orange, dank weed and wet grass. Just as good out of the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted almost as good as the nose. Got Strata, Citra, dank weed, pine, wet grass, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, tangerine, orange rind and stone fruit. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Long, citrusy finish. (Feel - 4.75)
This grew on me. This was excellent overall. (Overall - 4.25)

Canned 12/22/20; Drank 2/28/21
Look: Pours a nice hazy yellowish-orange with very good lacing.
Smell/Taste: Lots of citrus and tropical flavors, mainly some orange, stonefruit, and passionfruit or guava. Just enough bitterness and dankness to balance against the citrus.
Feel: Really good mouthfeel. Nice smooth finish
Overall: Overall a solid hazy. Has all the elements of a good NEIPA.

Part of an IPA-of-the-Month Xmas subscription of California brews. Nice color, very hazy, and reminiscent of the local breweries.
Good citrus smell & taste, best one I've had so far from CA.
