Check-ch-check-check-check-ch-check it out, what-wha-what-what-what's it all about. This beer is our take on a traditional Czech-style Pilsner. Compared to a German Pils, this beer emphasizes a bit more malt character from the floor malted Czech Pilsner malt, medium body, and smoother taste profile than its hoppier German counterpart.

Was lucky enough to get this beer and a few others on a recent work trip to Reno. Untappd description was “Check-ch-check-check-check-ch-check it out, what-wha-what-what-what's it all about. Poured a straw-to-pale yellow clear color with 5-to-6 fingers of rocky-to-frothy white head. Could see lots of bubbles coming up from the bottom and along the sides of the glass. Outstanding semi-layered lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled Czech Saaz, Noble, black pepper, hay, grass, sourdough bread, chalk, grain and corn. Not as good from the can. (Smell - 4.25)
The taste wasn’t nearly as good as the nose. In order got Czech Saaz, Noble hops, black pepper, bitter grass, hay, grain, sourdough bread, chalk, corn and wheat. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Oily texture. Lively carbonation. Dry, spicy finish. (Feel - 3.75)
Liked this one. Outstanding overall for the style (Overall - 4.00)

Alright there's a few Beastie Boys themed beers out there, this might be the best. Continue reading for what is the first ever review of this beer on this Next Glass owned platform. You're welcome.
Pours golden, pilsners gonna pilsner. Good clarity, big fat 1" white head on it. She's pretty. The aroma is pretty much that standard golden waves of grain I talk about, floor malting, ok. Discernable lager yeast, smells dry, I like.
The taste, I mean, where you draw the line hopping wise between German, Italian, American or here, Czech pilsner, I dunno man, everyone wants their own little branding. It was hoppy ya know, but not IPL level hoppy, so basically, appropriate and well done. Usual light herbal bitter Saaz kind of hit. Good dry backend mouthfeel wise, ample carbonation, again, appropriately done. I'd be surprised if anyone but the most noodly armed soy nerd would try and say how discernable of a regional pilsner this is without any prompting. Its a good beer in the Euro beer done in the US kind of a way.
