500ml bottle, wax over cap. Batch #1.
Black colored body. Brown head which disappears quickly. No lacing.
Aroma of sweet bourbon soaked dark roasted malts, with bits of chocolate and coffee.
Taste is sweet, with bourbon barrel influences. Flavors of chocolate, coffee, caramel, bourbon barrel, oak, vanilla, and a hint of dark cherry fruit. Aftertaste is bourbon barrel soaked dark roasted malts, with chocolate and caramel.
More than medium mouthfeel. Smooth and creamy texture. Some stickiness on the lips. Soaked with higher ABV% bourbon barrel, but sweet and no burn. Supportive carbonation.
Dessert treat with heavy bourbon barrel influence. Solid caramel and chocolate flavors.
