Taste: thick roasted barley malts, dry bitter almost coffee notes.
Complex bitter toasted bean nose.

Served in an imperial pint glass at the Palatine brewpub.
Nothing goes with GolfTV like a nitro'ed stout, eh? This one pours a straight onyx topped by a finger of sandy khaki foam. The nose comprises mild roasted malts, very mild coffee, and a touch of dark chocolate powder. As per usual, it seems as though the nitro has muted the aromas a bit. The taste generally brings in more of the same, though the muting isn't quite as prevalent (but still palpably present). The body is a light medium, with a pleasant nitrogenation and a consequently smooth feel. Overall, a nice dry stout, very straightforward and highly drinkable.

A: Typical stout, appeared to be nitogenated. Black body with cream two finger head.
S: I could detect coffee bean
T: Very good! Hints of coffee really made this stout stand out.
M: Very creamy and soothing
D: Wow! Great session beer. Glad to celebrate St. Paddys Day while drinking local.
Stands on its own. Get it while you can.

Served in an Imperial Pint Glass. This stout is jet black with a tan head and decent lacing. As expected, the nitro pour is attractive.
The nose is of roasted almost burnt malts and coffee.
The taste is solid. Nice roasted malts that have a bit of smoky overtones. I get notes of coffee and dark chocolate. Slightly bitter late.
The mouth is a bit thinner than I like, but at 3% this is a easy session beer that is interesting enough to keep you entertained.
