Pours a clear dark brown color. 1/2 inch head of a tan color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of strong sweet malt, roasted malt, coffee, and slight caramel malt. Fits the style of an American Porter. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. There is a noticeable dryness. Tastes of strong sweet malt, roasted malt, coffee, and slight caramel malt. Overall, good appearance, aroma, and body, though simplistic.

Taste: toasted coffee beans, dark malty, semi sweet chocolate, nutty, smokey, dry finish. Same with the nose. Black, opaque, tan head with a ring of lace around the glass. Medium/full body. Yum. 24 IBUs
