Poured from a 22oz bomber into two small white wine glasses. Thanks to HeatherAnn for the assist!
Best by December 2011
A: Pours a rich, hazy-honey color with almost no head or lace to speak of. Carbonation is pretty lazy.
S: Hot boozy alcohol aroma up front with a nice middle and background of orange, pine, honey, caramel, and a touch of apricot, peach, and lemon.
T: Tastes exactly as it smells. Alcohol comes on strong in the beginning, recedes during the brief middle, and comes on strong again in the long finish. Dry/toasty malt makes an appearance as well.
M: Juicy and sticky with plenty of bitterness from the hops and peppery prickliness from the ample and obvious alcohol. Very hot and not very subtle, but not a one trick pony.
D: I was taken aback by the potent booziness of this and I was also not expecting the rush of juicy fruitiness that kept begging me to hurry up and finish the bottle.
