Served in an imperial pint glass at the Palatine brewpub.

I want some o' this in my bag lunches nowadays... Anyway, this stuff pours a straight onyx topped by a couple fingers of tan foam. The nose comprises cocoa powder and mild roasted malts, with a potential hint of light coffee waiting nervously behind the curtain. The taste brings in more of the same, along with a light touch of that trademark Guinness-style stout sourness. The body is a light-leaning medium, with a pleasant nitrogenation and a consequently velvety smooth feel. Overall, a highly enjoyable sweet stout, one that actually does verge on the flavor of chocolate milk at times. Good times, indeed.
