Served in an imperial pint glass at the Palatine brewpub.
I'm pretty sure the British would take issue with the name and the ABV the way they are... Regardless, this stuff pours a lightly-hazy sunrise amber topped by a finger-and-a-half of white foam. The nose comprises light orange zest, very light lemon peel, grass, light pine sap, and a hint of honey-dripped biscuit. The taste brings in more of the same, with a heavier grass and pine character and a finish awash in light flowers. I sorta get a bit of Sorachi in there, but I didn't bother to ask if said varietal was used here. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a dry finish. Overall, a solid IPA, and I could see drinking a few of these at a sitting, but I wouldn't go so far as to call it truly sessionable.
