Served in an imperial pint glass at the Palatine brewpub.
Glad to see these guys branching out a bit with their styles and whatnot. This stuff pours a clear sunrise amber topped by over a finger of light cream-white foam. The nose comprises sweet grapefruit zest, orange zest, light orange peel, light sweetgrass, light banana peel, and light caramel. The taste holds notes of orange peel, grapefruit rind, light honey, light biscuit, very light Belgian yeast, and plenty of grass. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a dryinig finish. Overall, a nice IPA, but one that doesn't really flesh out the wheat or Belgian components. Luckily, though, the Cascade hops seem to shine pretty well.
