Served in an imperial pint glass at the Palatine brewpub.
Didn't expect starting my day out with a steam beer, but I'm not gonna argue. This stuff pours a clear amber topped by a finger of cream-white foam. The nose comprises orange peel, very light biscuit, and some very light flowers. The taste brings in more of the same, along with a decent contingent of grass. The body is a hefty light, with a light moderate carbonation and a crisp finish. Overall, a very nice steam beer, something I could easily see downing several of here without minding.
