Served in an imperial pint glass at the Palatine brewpub.
Just a quick drink here before heading home to watch Purdue likely lose to #24 Wisconsin. This stuff pours a clear topaz-amber topped by a finger of off-white foam. The nose comprises lightly-toasted biscuit, sweet honey, and a smidgen of sweet flowers. The taste brings in more of the same, with a hint of candied orange peel and a twinge of what may or may not be vanilla bean. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a fluid feel. Overall, a nice little rye beer, even if the rye isn't really front or center. Not bad at all.
