Reddish-brown, clear liquid, no foam... dominant notes of toasted wood, nutty, bit of a back end grassy bite; almost like a dry, nutty brown ale... very little presence of alcohol, but also very little depth to the malt... its body also seemed a bit thin, though it could be chalked up to it being well-lagered perhaps... based on taste alone, I'd say there not enough happening to warrant a revisit, but this would have been better serviced in a larger pour, shame on me
